If you did not qualify or failed to make payments under HAMP, beginning on April 5, 2010, the new HAFA program may help you get out from under a burdensome mortgage payment.   The major banks are all on board with this program and HAFA has standardized the time frames and documentation to be used.  In fact, there are even some incentives in place for you, your lender, and the second lienholder (where applicable) to get it done quickly.   Since you are required to use a real estate agent to sell your home anyway, why not choose a knowledgable professional like myself. As an agent with the CDPE® Designation, I have a strong and unique appreciation of the factors affecting the market, and know that there are options available to you.
